  • ADHD and Autism in Early Years- Workshop for RECE's

    ADHD and Autism is becoming more common in our society, increasing diagnosis up to 30% in the last 10 years. The early years are an incredibly vulnerable and impactful time for brain development.

    As RECE’s we have a working knowledge of typical development in young children and are therefore an asset to early assessment. We are children’s and parent’s first lines of support. Having an understanding of ADHD and Autism is paramount to working with families.

    Through this 2 part series RECE’s will learn how to recognize these neurocognitive challenges and assist parents in receiving early diagnosis and support.

    We will also work through the barriers to having challenging conversations with parents and how to provide effective strategies in your classroom for managing the challenges that come with neurodiverse children.

  • 1 on 1 Coaching for Parents

    ADHD Parent Coaching is about you and your needs. We work together to actively support you in managing challenges and achieve positive lasting changes for you and your family.

    First we educate you in regards to current ADHD research and the brain so you can have a better awareness of the impact ADHD has in various areas of your child’s development. We explore what isn’t working for you and your family and the various supports you might need moving forward. We empower you to understand and shift the challenging dynamics between you and your child. We offer support for you as a parent (parent team) to build your tool belt and execute effective and useful strategies to make your life more manageable, sustainable and enjoyable.

    ADHD AWARENESS MONTH PACKAGE 3 sessions at $150

  • Calm and Connected Workshop

    This 7 week program is designed for a deeper experience in learning about the ADHD brain workings and challenges as well as detailed strategies and tools needed to support your child with ADHD.

    This is a great program to reset your family experience and make connections with others who are sharing your challenges.

  • ADHD Adventure Club

    Brains that fire together wire together! In this after school adventure we build connection and community through our shared experience.

    Kids will have the opportunity to share their challenges and learn about the unique wiring of the ADHD brain and nervous system. We will practice techniques for calm and connect to our bodies through nature play! Nature is a proven support for our psychological and physical well-being. Being in greenspace improves impulse control and increases attention span; relieves stress and encourages problem solving amongst many other benefits!

  • 1 on 1 Child Playshop

    I work with children to support executive functioning skillset and develop emotional regulations tools. Most importantly I acknowledge them for who they are and their unique gifts. We work to create a positive self concept and take a strengths based approach to understanding of the ADHD brain empowering kids to be their own best advocates within in school and social systems.

    Through yoga, movement and brain based practices children create their tool belt discovering that work best for them when they need resources.

    5 session package $325 + hst
